Resolved: Cancel my booking
They cancelled my Hotel as requested then took all of the money out of my Bank for the Hotel. I had to get Paypal to refund the money, then Travel Republic phoned and apologised and said it was sorted now.
I have used Travel Republic for a number of years and never had a problem. It has now been taken over by somebody else.
So as long as you made your booking after January 2026. There should not be a problem.
Travel Republic are hard to deal with if you booked before January 2026
I will try again; they do not open until 09:00 am. I thought it was 08:30 am. There did not seem to be an option to cancel on the phone, but I will try again later.

I am in the uae Abu Dhabi and need to check my flights
Difficult situation for them as well but not happy they have asked me to call back which I have to use international calls by landline and have to call through hotel reception and pay for myself. Last night I couldn’t get through to them so going to try this morning as the operator at hotel doesn’t start until 9 which is annoying

This service has been down for a few weeks, I appreciate that there are issues going on in the world that can delay responses but finding out Travel Republic had been bought out by a Spanish company I had concerns about our holiday as I had not received any communication. I did get a call and they reassured me our holiday was not impacted by the take over

Would put no stars if could ! Travel republic ruined my family holiday
- They cancel family hotel bookings last minute and leave you without accommodation.
- Refunds take days to process with no compensation; ABTA protection is not provided.
Do not book with this untrustworthy, despicable, non-ABTA protected, useless company!!! They will cancel your family hotel accommodation last minute and leave you high and dry without accommodation, taking your money!
Your money is never safe being paid to Travel Republic because they left ABTA in July 2023; it is not protected! They do not care about you or your holiday and they will not refund you easily. It took 7 days and multiple phone calls to finally get a partial refund out of them, and absolutely no compassion or compensation.
They will ignore you and fob you off with lies and ruin your holiday!!! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.'

Do not recommend very bad company
- The payment page showed 50 more than the online price.
- I will pursue small claims court and do not recommend Travel Republic.
On booking online with this shower Travel Reublic gave a price and on the payment page it showed 50 more. So I decided to pay the deposit rather than the full price until I contacted them.
When I contact Travel Republic, John the manager said they tracked the booking and could see no change therefore he could not discount the difference of 50. I asked if he had the evidence of the pervious page price prior to the payment page and he said no. Why would I want the hassle if it was not the case. I would want anything off them for nothing!
I will now proceed to small claims court to prove the evidence and that I am right. I do not recommend booking with Travel Republic stay well clear of them be advised.

Have tried to book a flight and hotel. Money has been taken from account straight away.
Then in 2 days time agent from travel republic contacted us that our booking cannot be confirmed as room not available. Although on official hotel website there is a room. They advised that we can pay £600 more or as our room was refundable to refund. Interesting, if we had no refunded, would they just keep our money.
1st time booked with this company and very very dissipated. Will never recommend this company.
As of not our fault professionals should just accept amount we paid and re-locate at their own cost. As not our fault that they are offering something on their website where they don't have availability.

My flight it 23.00pm and transferred from the hotel to Airport it s19.00pm. But from the reception Hotel they told me 12.00am I have to leave the room or l have to pay , is that not fair.
So when l came back in London l would whit same customer. But l'm not happy from situation
